The UPES School of Law has built a reputation for a Multidisciplinary approach to Legal education combined with high levels of Industry Integration. The School strives to create well-trained and skilled legal practitioners through its Curriculum, which is designed to emphasize both Theory and Exposure to Practical Work. In addition to the Classroom Experience, students have opportunities to participate in Moot Court Competitions, Legal Research Projects, and Internships, all designed to help them develop their Advocacy Skills and Analytical Skills. Admission Process

UPES will select thoughtful and hardworking students based on their performance on the U-LAT or other similar qualifying tests as well as their performance during an interview process and document verification. In all of this, there is transparency and fairness for the candidates who possess an aptitude for and a desire to study law.

Eligibility Criteria

The completion of an appropriate, authorized undergraduate degree in law (LLM) or 10 + 2/Undergraduate Degree (BA/BBA LLB) must be achieved, and the applicant must present themselves with the minimum score requirements established by the program and comply with the related program criteria and requirements.

Placements

Through its internship programs, industry contacts, and Career Services, the UPES School of Law has developed excellent placement support for its students. Students are placed in various areas of business, including Corporate Law, Litigation, Consulting, Compliance, and Public Policy. The School of Law is also dedicated to providing students with practical training, as well as opportunities to hone their skills through such activities as moot courts. In addition, the UPES School of Law maintains a dedicated placement cell, which serves as a means of connecting students with high-quality law firms and other companies and organizations, to ensure they secure competitive positions, mentoring support, and long-term career advancement.
