Admission Process

By reviewing applicants' performance in the U-LAT (an admissions test – often considered as CTET), interviewing & reviewing the verification of details provided in their documents (official transcripts those provided through out the interview) by a committee consisting of representatives from UPES as well as members from other universities who offer degrees similar to that of Law, the UPES selection process demonstrates fairness, transparency and honesty to applicants who have an interest in pursuing law education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must either successfully complete a legally recognized bachelor’s level degree in law (LLM) or have completed a BA/BBA LLB upon graduation from the 12th grade (i.e., 10 + 2) and meet all minimum score requirements outlined in this program. All applicants will be required to meet all general and/or specific program criteria as described in this document for all relevant admission criteria.

Placements

Through its internship programs, industry contacts, and Career Services, the UPES School of Law has developed excellent placement support for its students. Students are placed in various areas of business, including Corporate Law, Litigation, Consulting, Compliance, and Public Policy. The School of Law is also dedicated to providing students with practical training, as well as opportunities to hone their skills through such activities as moot courts. In addition, the UPES School of Law maintains a dedicated placement cell, which serves as a means of connecting students with high-quality law firms and other companies and organizations, to ensure they secure competitive positions, mentoring support, and long-term career advancement.
