Admission Process

MNIT has established an entrance-based system for all undergraduate and postgraduate programs and uses a centralized counselling process to facilitate admissions across all programs through on-line counseling. For undergraduate B.Tech and B.Arch programs, prospective students must take and pass JEE Main and then participate in either JoSAA or CSAB counselling to secure admission into either of these two departments. All prospective graduate students (M.Tech, M.Sc) must take either the GATE or IIT JAM exams and will be admitted through CCMT / CCMN. All students who apply for MBA will be admitted based on either their CAT scores or a combination of both CAT scores and their performance at a personal interview.

Eligibility Criteria

The admissions criteria for undergraduate programs and graduate programs are generally the same. Undergraduate applicants must achieve 75% in their Class 12 final exams (Physics/Maths). Graduate applicants must hold an appropriate Bachelor's degree (60% Overall or 6.5 CGPA) in relevant fields and, therefore, must take the appropriate national level examination to qualify for an admissions offer from MNIT Jaipur. Specific programme requirements and valid national-level examination scores must be provided by students to receive a final decision regarding their admission status from MNIT Jaipur.

1. Campus & Accommodation

Faculty staff are located at the campusresidential buildings so as to allow academic and residential areas to be close together to help facilitate easy access. On-campus housing is available and there are separate dorms for student housing with associated mess facilities. In addition, there are key support services available such as banks, a post-office, medical clinic, guest houses, canteens and other essential services to accommodate comfortable living conditions within the hostel.

2. Academic Facilities

MNIT provides a strong academic foundation through its excellent infrastructure in terms of department buildings and research centres, as well as providing digital learning support. Its large, fully computerized central library has an open access system and contains a large selection of books, journals, and digital resources. In addition to being equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and research and academic centres, MNIT's academic infrastructure promotes the development of research, innovation, and interdisciplinary study among engineering and management students.
