Admission Process

At VGU, the admission process is efficient for the applicant and is primarily conducted online. The applicant will need to register on the VGU portal, complete the VGU application, and then take the VGUCET or a valid national level admissions test. After the applicant has received their test scores, the applicant will be selected for counselling or an interview before final registration.

Eligibility Criteria

For undergraduate applicants, the minimum qualifications are a 10+2 with a minimum aggregate score of 45–50% by a recognised board. To qualify for graduate level programs, you will need a bachelor's degree with a minimum grade point average of 50% in your area of study. Some programs may also require qualification for a national level entrance exam such as JEE Main, CAT or NATA; therefore each program will require additional applications and testing.

1. Campus & Accommodation

On the 33-acre campus that is equipped with Wi-Fi throughout, the campus housing is separate and secured for boys and girls. The total occupancy is over 3,000 students. Accommodation options include fully furnished single-, double- and triple-occupancy air-conditioned and air-cooled rooms. All of the residents have access to 24-hour power supply, reverse osmosis drinking water supply, laundry services, and four complete meals per day through the on-campus mess.

2. Academic Facilities

The VGU campus has several Learning Spaces which include ICT-enabled Lecture Theatres, Smart Classrooms, and 120-seater Seminar Halls. In addition, the campus provides specialized laboratories and workshops for Engineering, Design, Forensic Science, and a Knowledge Resource Centre that has two floors with over 4,000 hardcopy books, digital access to numerous e-journals, and access to a plethora of global video courses.

3. Sports & Recreation

The University promotes Holistic Health to their students through an Indoor Gymnasium that is 5,000 sq. ft. in size in addition to a vast array of Outdoor Facilities for students to participate in sports such as cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball. Students also have access to high-quality coaching and support in the area of sport and wellness through "Khelo India." The indoor facilities will also include table tennis, chess, and a large food court with seating for over 1,000 students for socializing and spending time with their peers.
