UPES School Of Business provides students with an education that is directed towards the work place. This is done by providing real-world exposure to large corporations and conducting actual assignments for companies, as well as utilizing case studies for teaching purposes and developing the skills needed for today's workplace. In addition, UPES School of Business teaches students how to work ethically and be innovative in a rapidly changing global economy.

Admission Process

When you apply for admission, you must first submit your academic records and take the appropriate entrance exam(s) (e.g., UPESMET or other national tests). Then you will be invited to take part in a group discussion and/or interview to determine your analytical thinking skills and ability to communicate effectively; as well as your aptitude for management. Once you have completed all these stages of evaluation, you will receive information regarding your acceptance status based upon your complete academic record (including entrance exam(s)) and your results from the evaluation stages.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for an undergraduate business program, you need to complete Class 12 with the required total score from a recognized board. To apply for an MBA program, a candidate must have completed his/her bachelor’s degree with a minimum total score of at least 50% and must have obtained a valid score on either the UPESMET or accepted national exams. Relevant work experience, extracurricular activities and steady performance on an academic level will also be taken into consideration when assessing the eligibility of the applicant for these programs.

Placements

The placement department at the School of Business at UPES is very active in helping students find good paying jobs in many fields. Many students from the last few years received offers with high starting salaries, and the top 10% of students have all received good offers as well. To prepare students for their careers, the career department works closely with students on a variety of activities, including workshops, projects, and internships, to get them ready for jobs in finance, consulting, energy, technology, and other growing fields.

1. Campus & Accommodation

UPES provides an inviting learning atmosphere with an attractive campus covering 44 acres, which is surrounded by wooded hills. The university also offers both men's and women's hostels located on-site that include well-kept sleeping quarters, study areas, internet access, cafeteria and 24-hour security to ensure that everyone is safe while on campus. The environment of campus encourages educational pursuits, healthy minds & bodies, along with encouraging a vibrant residential experience for all students.

2. Academic Facilities
