Admission Process

JGU employs a holistic and transparent admissions process. An applicant must provide an online application with their academic records and also be assessed through various methods, including written tests, interviews, and/or portfolio reviews, depending on the course/degree. Aptitude, motivation, communication skills, and potential are considered during this selection process.

Eligibility Criteria

While eligibility criteria for programmes differ, they typically require completion of previous qualifying education with a strong academic record. In addition, some programmes may require applicants to submit SAT/ACT test results, written assessments or interviews. These criteria are designed to ensure that all students are prepared to participate successfully in challenging academic courses and will achieve the expected academic standards of the University.

Placements

The Career Services cell at JGU provides a comprehensive array of placement services for students in all disciplines. The Career Services cell conducts regular campus recruitment drives as well as other activities related to the hiring of new graduates. A comprehensive suite of training, including workshops, soft skill sessions, resume preparation and interview training, is available for students to enhance their employability.
