Admission Process

The first step in being considered for admission into NIA’s PGDM program is to complete an online application. Applicants will then be short-listed based on their performance on a national entrance examination such as CAT, XAT or CMAT. After being short-listed, candidates will participate in a group discussion and an individual interview; admissions will be offered based on the collective performance of the group discussions, interviews, and academic record of the applicant in order to ensure all admissions into the PGDM program are based solely on merit.

Eligibility Criteria

In order for candidates to apply to NIA's PGDM, they must have a valid 4-year Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university and meet the minimum GPA requirements. Candidates must also submit qualifying scores on one of the approved national tests (CAT, CMAT, XAT, etc.) within the last 2 years. Each applicant must meet age requirements and minimum percentiles established by the school.

1. Campus & Accommodation

The campus of National Insurance Academy is situated on a sprawling green campus that incorporates academic, administrative, residential and recreational buildings which have been added together to form an integrated environment. The accommodation for students on this campus consists of hostel blocks that are furnished to a high standard, with dining facilities, 24-hour utilities, including lighting, security and maintenance services made available to students in order to provide a comfortable, safe and conducive place to study and live.

2. Academic Facilities

Modern academic facilities include state-of-the-art rooms for learning aided by sound and video; rooms for collaborative group work or meetings in private settings (Syndicate Rooms); a large collection of managerial and insurance books and materials (Library); and seminar and lab facilities for research and educational processes.
