Admission Process

The selection of candidates for admission into the premier B.A. LL.B (Hons.) or LL.M. programs is based on merit as determined by their performance on the CLAT that is held across the country. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will then take part in a centralised counselling process where their documents will also be verified. Applications for admission are made via the Consortium's online portal.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for admission to NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad requires candidates to have successfully completed the qualifying examination from a recognized board or university. Applicants must meet the academic standards prescribed for undergraduate or postgraduate law programs and should possess strong aptitude for legal studies, analytical ability, and language proficiency. Candidates appearing in their final qualifying examination are also eligible, subject to fulfillment of requirements at the time of admission.

Infrastructure

1. Campus & Accommodation

The school offers a large campus with a lot of learning facilities. The campus includes academic buildings, a central administrative area, all dormitories for students, and recreational facilities to enhance the overall student experience. Both male and female students live in separate dormitory buildings with shared amenities like common areas, grouped games, Internet access, dining and other services to assist students with their daily living.

2. Academic Facilities

NALSAR provides excellent infrastructure for an academic institution. All classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, while the Law Library has a comprehensive selection of both physical and digital legal reference material. In addition to standard classrooms, NALSAR offers additional specialized facilities, such as Smart Classrooms and Moot Court Halls, dedicated Research Centres and IT Labs. The NALSAR campus has also constructed a Convention Centre and Auditorium for hosting Seminars, Workshops and other forms of Academic Activity.
