JK Business School develops its students under the unique "Govind-Dev-Ji" philosophy which strives to develop both future business leaders and the overall development of humans. By incorporating Management Simulation Games (MSG) and real-world case studies as part of the curriculum, the institute helps foster critical thinking skills and proactive decision making. In this way, JKBS assures its students to not only be academically sound but also be able to handle difficult corporate problems confidently and professionally.

Admission Process

The selection process is multifaceted, beginning with the application online and submission of national level entrance tests (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or GMAT) scores. After the shortlisted candidates will take the JKBS Written Aptitude Test (WAT), the candidate will then go through both a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) to complete the selection process. The management simulation game is also an important part of the selection process for undergraduate applicants (BBA) using this as a way to determine an applicant's inherent aptitude and abilities to be a good team player.

Eligibility Criteria

To be accepted into the PGDM Program, candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with at least 50% cumulative GPA as well as pass an entrance exam. For the undergraduate programs like BBA of the University of California, candidates must have passed their A+–degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% and a minimum grade of B on one of their classes.

Placements

JK Business School has a professional and dedicated placement cell that helps connect academic learning with corporate needs. There is an ongoing focus on providing students with "Corporate Readiness" through extensive training, including the development of soft skills, technical workshops, and mock interviews. An important part of the program is the Internship Program, which enables students to gain practical knowledge in different industries. The placement cell also develops and nurtures strong relationships with leaders of companies in a variety of industries, such as finance, marketing, and logistics, in order to help J.K. Business School's graduates have multiple options for starting their careers. Through this work, the placement cell prepares its students to be effective professionals immediately following graduation.

1. Campus & Accommodation

The university offers students a fully immersive living experience, with separate, fully furnished accommodation for males and females. Rooms will be available for sharing between two students (twin-share), and have air conditioning, 24 hour electricity backup, and high speed internet. In addition to the accommodation facilities, campus facilities include student run dining facilities that serve hygienically prepared food, laundry facilities, and a separate dining area for students to interact socially over food and drink.

2. Academic Facilities

The academic block has modern, air-conditioned, audio-visual enabled classrooms. The Knowledge Resources Centre has thousands of printed books, journals and digital databases (knowledge resources) to support learning, as well as state of the art computer labs, and fully equipped auditoriums to accommodate research-based pedagogy and business events.

3. Sports & Recreation

JKBS encourages complete student development by providing exceptional sporting facilities including a football field, cricket pitch, basketball court, volley ball court and badminton court. There are also opportunities for indoor recreation with table tennis, carrom, and chess.
