Chennai's Jeppiaar Engineering College is a self-financed educational institution formed under the Jeppiaar Educational Trust which provides high-quality education in Engineering & Technology. This college is located in Chennai on the Rajiv Gandhi Salai road; has established links with Anna University; is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE); and is recognized as an appropriate institution to pursue an Engineering Degree (undergraduate) programme.The college offers a range of B.E/B.Tech courses to meet the various needs of students and to provide fundamental engineering theory and practical training, including: Computer Science Engineering; Information Technology; Electronics and Communication; Mechanical Engineering; Artificial Intelligence; Data Science; and many others.The campus is organised to provide a disciplined working atmosphere for students with support from modern facilities including well equipped experimental laboratories, smart classrooms, a central library, seminar rooms, and up to date facilities for accessing computer based information.Jeppiaar Engineering College also aims to develop well-rounded individuals through sports and cultural activities, which contribute to developing the leadership skills and self-confidence of the students. The admission process for Jeppiaar Engineering College is conducted primarily through the State Counseling System; therefore, students have to apply to the College by using this system after they have completed their 12th standard education. After students submit their application, the counseling system allocates seats based on the students previous academic results, reservation our based on the number of branches available. The Student then completes all required documentation verification processes.

Eligibility Criteria -

To be eligible to apply for the undergraduate engineer programs, candidates must have successfully completed an approved Grade Twelve educational program consisting of the following core subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Math. Additionally, applicants must meet the minimum passing criteria for each of these core subjects to establish their eligibility. Furthermore, eligibility will be verified by the college counselors based on the students' past academic results during the State Counseling process .

Placements

Jeppiaar Engineering College has a formalised placement mechanism in place, which includes a plan to prepare graduates for careers based on their ability to meet present and future employment needs/ demands from the industry. Training is provided to students for aptitude, technical skills, communication skills, and interview skills (Preparation) as early as possible in their studies (i.e., while they are still studying).
