The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is a leading institute for management studies connected to development through rural sectors, agribusiness sectors, and social enterprise impact. Admission Process

Institute of Rural Management Anand selects students based on their commitment to rural development and analytical skills during their admissions process. A candidate's eligibility is determined using an accepted entrance test (CAT, MAT, XAT, etc.) as well as having them take a written examination and an interview in which we assess: academic history, potential for becoming a leader, ability to communicate effectively and motivation for working in rural communities.

Eligiblity Criteria

A candidate must possess at least an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution before they can apply to any program at Institute of Rural Management Anand. Those who will be graduating within this time frame may still submit applications; however, the selection process of candidates interested in pursuing management career paths stressing rural/sustainable development will be based on their demonstrated history of consistent academic performance, commitment to social change through positive action and leadership ability.

1. Campus & Accommodation

Institute Of Rural Management Anand has a 60-acre campus that offers students a fully residential campus experience. Students live in an apartment-style hostel complex made up of fully furnished single occupancy rooms with internet access. Furthermore, the campus has student dining facilities, pharmacy, faculty housing, and areas specifically reserved for students that can also be used for recreational activity in order to create a comfortable residential lifestyle for students living on campus.

2. Academic Facilities

The institution has advanced educational Facilities, including A/C classrooms, AV technology in classrooms, seminar rooms and an auditorium for holding academic events. The institute has developed a specialized library called the Ravi J. Mathai Library as A centre of resources for Rural Management. The library has various types of literature (books, etc.), journals, databases, and digital resources that assist with academic development, research and teaching.

The IRMA promotes a balanced life style for all students with a variety of sport and recreation facilities on campus. The off-campus facilities include football, cricket, badminton, table tennis etc., as well as a fully equipped multi-purpose gymnasium and an activity centre for all students to develop a fitness lifestyle, build teamwork and share cultural experiences.
