IIM Indore provides an Integrated Management Approach to create world-class managers and leaders through rigorous academics; exposure to the industry; research-focused work/project opportunities; and strong leadership training related to business operations. The institute offers a two-year Post Graduate Programme, Integrated Programme in Management (PGP), Executive MBA and doctoral programs to teach management skills for developing analytical skills for sound decision making, problem solving ability, and the ability to be socially responsible leaders. The curriculum combines theoretical studies along with real business cases to prepare students to be ready for the business environment in any part of the world.

Admission Process

The process of applying to each school is highly competitive with established criteria and an organised process of admission. Candidates applying for the PGP will primarily be selected based on their CAT scores, and then through the written ability test (WAT) and personal interview (PI) process. Candidates applying for an Integrated Program in Management will do so through the IPMAT process, followed by a personal interview. Candidates applying for executive programs will be required to take the GMAT/GRE test, present professional work experience and attend an interview. After the application process has ended, the shortlisted candidates will be invited for a final selection process that evaluates their previous test scores, performance, and future potential in a holistic manner.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for admission into the PGP (MBA) program, applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree with a minimum total score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates). The IPM program requires candidates to have successfully completed 10+2, while maintaining a strong academic background and passing the IPMAT entrance exam. In order to qualify for our Executive Programs, you must have earned an undergraduate degree in a related field and have a minimum of 3 - 5 years' work experience, as well as GMAT / GRE test scores. Candidates applying for our Doctoral Programs will need to have earned a master's degree or equivalent and will need to demonstrate evidence of continuing academic achievement and the ability to conduct independent research.

Placements

The IIM Indore has placed all of its students for many years and this includes students from its PGP, Executive MBA, IPM and Doctorial degrees. This is due to its extensive and continuous training and the many companies in its industry partner network to whom it provides placement guidance, access, and other assistance in placing students upon graduation. The placement office assists students in obtaining roles in consulting, financial services, IT / Analytics, Marketing, Operations and Product Management. In addition, the summer internship program gives students additional experience in the industry, so that they can build their resume, develop the skills needed for entry level positions and prepare themselves for future career success.

Infrastructure

1. Campus & Accommodation

The hilltop campus of IIM Indore is 193 acres of tranquil, sustainable surroundings for all students to learn without distractions. In addition to providing boys and girls with individual hostels complete with Wi-Fi, mess facilities, common lounges, 24/7 security, and areas to recreate, the campus also offers a variety of facilities such as cafeterias, auditoriums, and open space that promotes a lively resident and academic community.

2. Academic Facilities

The academic facilities at the Institute have been designed with modern technology, including smart Classroom, Seminar Halls, Lecture Theatre, Computing & Analytics Labs, Design Studio, Research Centre, etc. In addition, the library will contain management-related publications, electronic resources, and databases of case studies to help support experiential learning, research, and project-based learning for all PGP, IPM and Executive Programs.

3. Sports & Recreation

Through its various sports and recreation facilities, IIM Indore promotes the complete growth of its students. These facilities include cricket, football, and basketball fields, racket sports courts, an indoor gym, a swimming pool, and a dedicated space for yoga/meditation. Additionally, there are student-led clubs, cultural events on campus, and opportunities for students to improve their physical fitness while enhancing team-building abilities and developing leadership qualities.
