The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) was founded in 1961, is one of India’s most prestigious management schools. Admission Process

The admission process at IIM Ahmedabad is both challenging and function-based on suitability. Candidates will take the CAT exam (or GMAT/GRE for PGPX), and those who are chosen will undergo a more rigorous process that includes looking at academic performance, work experience, and a Personal Interview. The composite score that reflects overall performance and potential will dictate the final selection.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for IIM Ahmedabad’s MBA programs, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Final-year students are also eligible. For the PGPX program, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree plus at least four years of full-time work experience along with a valid GMAT/GRE score.
