Admission Process

At IIM Ahmedabad, the admissions are based on merit and require that the student be a good fit for the program. After taking the CAT exam (or GMAT or GRE for PGPX), the selected candidates will be subjected to another rigorous evaluation of their academic background, work experience, and PI score in order to establish a composite score to evaluate their performance and potential. Based on this review and evaluation, candidate selection will be made.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are applying for the MBA course in the IIM Ahmedabad have to hold a bachelorâs degree with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate marks in the reserved category). Moreover, final year students can also apply for the course. For application for PGPX, one needs to be a holder of bachelorâs degree (along with four years of work experience) with valid GMAT or GRE score.
