Admission Process

The process of applying for admission is based on merit and remains a structured process. In the case of PGPM and PGPM-HR, candidates will be assessed through their CAT scores, with further consideration given to Written Ability Tests (WAT) followed by Personal Interviews (PI). For Doctoral candidates, a shortlist will initially be created based upon scores achieved through respective national or international tests e.g., CAT, GMAT, GRE, IIMB Tests and UGC-JRF before being scheduled for interview.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements differ based on the program you are applying for. In the case of PGPM and PGPM-HR, it is necessary for applicants to hold a completed Bachelor's degree. In regard to applicants for a Ph.D., they must possess a Master's degree or an equivalent degree and have submitted valid test scores that include either CAT, GMAT, GRE, IIMB test, or UGC-JRF. The above eligibility requirements assure that all candidates for our intensive Management programs or our Intensive Research Ph.D. programs are adequately prepared academically.

Placements

IIM Trichy has a very good placement record, and students from both the PGPM and PGPM-HR streams have been placed in a number of different fields i.e., sales & marketing, finance, consulting, IT & analytics, and operations. The institute has attracted many recruiters which demonstrates a high degree of industry interaction and has created many opportunities for its students. A number of students have also received pre-placement offers, indicating that employers have faith in their abilities and training.

1. Campus & Accommodation

The campus' modern facilities and design provide all necessary resources to be successful in an academic setting. Additionally, the institute has assigned separate hostels for both men and women, which include all the conveniences of home such as a computer lab with free internet access, laundry mats, common rooms, areas for recreation indoors, and a dining service with sanitary standards. The design of the hostels allows for a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, conducive to both studying as well as to building community.

2. Academics & Facilities

Facilities for academic study include the presence of modern technology-enhanced classrooms, an advanced library, which contains electronic databases, as well as computer laboratories with high-quality equipment; additionally to, seminar halls and conference room facilities; research areas, as well as group study rooms will also have to be available. Other services provided at the university include auditoria; support for new venture creation and the operation of many different learning centres. All of the above contribute to an all-encompassing educational experience.

3. Sports & Recreation

Physical fitness is encouraged at IIM Trichy with ample sporting and recreational facilities: football and cricket fields, basketball and volleyball courts, badminton court, indoor games area, jogging track and gym.
