Gujarat National Law University is committed to providing quality education, research and training for the law profession as well to support the ongoing needs of lawyers and other professional school attorneys. Admission Process

At Gujarat National Law University, the process of accepting students is performed openly and in orderly, systematic manner, with students selected based on their performance on a test at the National level (through CLAT) and thereafter through centralised counselling services. Using this approach to the admissions process guarantees that all students will be treated fairly and given equal chances for acceptance, while also ensuring that those students accepted have the best chance of succeeding at studying Law.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the position, applicants need to meet the eligibility requirements set forth by the jurisdiction, which include successful completion of the necessary qualifying exams from an approved board or university. The minimum academic standards established by each jurisdiction help ensure that applicants who meet these standards have acquired the basic knowledge and analytical skills necessary to successfully complete the demanding legal education requirements of the jurisdictions.

The Gujarat National Law University has established a placement system that promotes professional preparation and career development for students. 1. Campus & Accommodation

Facilities located on each university campus, other than housing for male and female students, are provided with basic utility services and the following features: Wi-Fi access in all facilities, areas for physical recreation, and meals prepared for use after hours at local restaurants. Each university campus also has staff housing, first aid stations, cultural engagement venues, and a wide variety of student interaction venues designed to be used as a support system for members of the student body.

2. Academic Facilities

Academic facilities consist of well-designed contemporary classrooms, multimedia-equipped classrooms, library with a lot of books and computer resources, moot courts and conference rooms coupled with an IT infrastructure to support the preparation of research and developing skills on a team basis and through the integration of theoretical knowledge with real-world experiences. These facilities provide support for research, collaborative learning and practical legal training through the combination of theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

3. Sports & Recreation

GNLU encourages an active lifestyle and physical activity through its diverse range of recreation and sports facilities, which include both outdoor sporting fields such as football and cricket grounds, as well as indoor facilities such as basketball and tennis courts, gym facilities, and indoor activity areas. Student-run committees and clubs host events, competitions, and fitness opportunities that support a healthy lifestyle and engage students on campus in ways beyond academics.
