BMU (BML Munjal University) began its journey in 2014 with a bold vision of transforming higher education in India and developing future leaders who will become changemakers in India and elsewhere in the world. BMU was founded by the promoters of the Hero Group, and it is named after the co-founder and Chairman, Dr Brijmohan Lall Munjal. BMU has been a leader in empowering next-gen professionals in various domains.

 

BML Munjal University, founded by the Hero Group founders, is a Munjal Family-initiated not-for-profit project that aspires to revolutionize higher education in India by constructing a world-class teaching and learning environment. Presently, there are four schools at the university: School of Engineering & Technology, School of Management, School of Law and School of Liberal Studies. 

 

BMU offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses through the schools, including B.Tech, B.Com (Hons), BBA, BA (Hons) Liberal Arts and MBA.BMU is committed to generating, preserving and delivering internationally benchmarked knowledge and skills to a diverse group of students globally.

Admission Process

The admission process at BML University is designed to be straightforward and accessible for students. Candidates are required to complete an online application form, submit necessary documents, and complete an entrance test or personal interview (if applicable to the program). Once shortlisted, candidates receive an offer letter and can confirm their admission by paying the enrollment fee. The admissions process ensures transparency while selecting students on the basis of merit and potential.

Eligibility Criteria

Criteria for application eligibility vary depending on the course of study. In general, for undergraduate courses, students usually should have completed 10+2, and for postgraduate courses, students are expected to hold a relevant bachelor’s degree. The minimum mark criteria may vary depending on your program of study. Some programs also may have entrance score requirements, interviews, or portfolios, etc.

1. Campus & Accommodation

BML Munjal University has a well-planned, 50 acre open-air campus that consists of modern structures, vast green areas, and peaceful surroundings. The university is fully residential with separate hostels for boys and girls and single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. Students can also enjoy facilities such as Wi-Fi, study rooms, laundry, common lounges, a medical centre available all hours, CCTV security, and housekeeping on a regular basis. The environment on campus is secure, comfortable, and conducive for study. 

2. Academic Facilities

BMU has created up-to-date educational facilities, including smart classrooms, technology-led audio-visual systems, and thought out laboratories. BMU has specific labs such as the IBM Analytics Lab, Hero Training Lab, Robotics Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, etc., which provide experiential learning platforms. The Savera Library is a contemporary digital + physical library containing e-books, research journals, Studypods, and spaces for group discussions.

3. Sports & Recreation

BMU emphasizes the holistic development of its students, having both indoor and outdoor sports facilities. There is a cricket-cum-football ground, synthetic basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and floodlighted courts for the evening. Indoor facilities include badminton courts, table tennis, and a multi-sport hall. The university has a fully equipped gym, wellness centres, yoga clubs, and meditation activities that total a well-rounded physical, mental, and emotional experience.
