Admission Process

The admission process is a completely digital and defined process for prospective students. Candidates interested in the Amity admissions microsite must register for an account, complete an application form and submit a payment of ₹1500 that cannot be refunded. The admissions procedure will consist of multiple steps, which include a combination of reviewing academic abilities and testing personal attributes through a video-based aptitude assessment.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility for each of the more than 600 programs offered varies considerably from one program to another. The general requirements for Undergraduate programs include completion of a Class 12 or equivalent with an aggregate score (minimum and maximum combined) between 50% and 70% (depending on the type of course). For Postgraduate programs, completion of a Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate score of at least 50% is a minimum requirement for admission.

1. Campus & Accommodation

The university provides more than 8000 students a ‘home away from home’ experience on its secure, on-campus housing. All of the university’s housing facilities include separate AC and non-AC boys’ and girls’ hostels, which each contain private, apartment-style suites with attached baths. Residents also have access to 24/7 security, multi-cuisine cafeterias, laundry service, ATMs/banks located on-campus, and a dedicated medical clinic that has an ambulance service available.

2. Academic Facilities

The classrooms at the Amity have an amphitheatre design allowing for air conditioning, an audio-visual aid for classroom interaction and teaching, and an extensive academic infrastructure with over three hundred hi tech labs, a forty-six thousand square foot central library that contains more than 200,000 books and over 17,000 digital journals. The entire campus is wireless-enabled with 1Gbps connection speed for the technology-intensive curriculum and research-driven campus.

3. Sports & Recreation

The campus features a vast 15-acre sports complex created for the total development of all students. Modern facilities include an Olympic swimming pool as well as a 20-lane indoor shooting range, a horse riding school and international tennis/squash courts, with sufficient football fields, cricket fields and gymnasiums to promote the development of a healthy lifestyle as well as a competitive spirit through various university-level tournaments.
