Admission Process

The application process for students who want to attend Altera Institute is comprehensive and consists of multiple stages. The first stage is an extensive application that includes a statement of purpose. Candidates who apply will be assessed through a multi-level evaluation process which includes a business case study to determine analytical skills. A final interview will be conducted with the founding team to determine if there is a match between the behavioural characteristics of the candidate and the expectations of Altera Institute, as well as their potential for success in the long term.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for admission, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and have achieved a minimum aggregate score. Candidates are also required to submit valid scores from national tests such as the CAT, XAT, NMAT or GMAT. Without academic test results, or if the candidate has been working for some time, they may be required to take the Altera National Aptitude Test.
