Admission process

Prospective students must register online via the official AKGIM admission portal with valid email verification. After registration, candidates undergo document verification and personal interaction as part of the selection stages. Final admission is contingent on meeting eligibility standards, submission of required documents, and payment of fees. The process adheres strictly to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) and AICTE norms, with no third-party consultants involved.

Eligibility criteria

For MBA admission, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university and fulfil eligibility set by AICTE and AKTU. Admission considers valid scores in national/state entrance tests such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, or UPCET/UPTAC counselling as applicable. Candidates with strong academic performance in 10th, 12th and graduation are preferred. Scholarships may be offered based on merit and prevailing guidelines.

The campus of AKGIM has trees, sidewalks, and playing surfaces that are all well-tended and have no pollutants in their vicinity. The separate hostels for boys and girls have furniture and amenities, 24 hours a day, such as power and water, as well as internet access, places to play, gymnasiums, T.V. rooms, and security. The dining area and outdoor area at AKGIM allow for both studying and recreation in a comfortable living situation.

AKGIM promotes total health through its numerous sports facilities for indoor and outdoor recreation. These include multiple outdoor facilities for cricket, football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, and many other types of sports, as well as indoor facilities. While the gym provides a space for physical fitness, the outdoors is used as a space for additional team recreation, relaxation, and involvement with extracurricular activities through the use of landscape, parks, and recreation areas on the campus.
