Overview

MAT 2026 will be conducted for admission to MBA programs offered by MAT participating colleges. In the first week of December 2025, the official website will open the MAT application process for the 2026 online and offline exams. Direct URL to the Official MAT Website For PBT and CBT, online applications must be submitted by the first and second weeks of March, respectively, 2026. The admit cards for the PBT and CBT will be made available by the AIMA during the second and third weeks of March 2026, respectively. The CBT exam will be administered in the fourth week of March 2026, while the PBT exam will be administered in the second week. The MAT will be given four times a year and can be taken in three different ways: PBT (Paper-Based Test), CBT (Computer-Based Test), and IBT (Internet-Based Test). The MAT 2026 exam is expected to cover a number of topics, including language comprehension, intelligence and critical reasoning, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, and the Indian and global environment. Candidates will have 120 minutes to finish the test, which consists of 150 questions in total. There will be a negative marking of -0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
