BrijMohan Lall Munjal, the founder of the HERO Group, was a quintessential first-generation entrepreneur. A man of vision and unwavering determination, he transformed his dreams into reality through relentless grit and perseverance, building one of India’s largest corporate conglomerates and leading it to become the world’s No. 1 two-wheeler manufacturer.

Despite never attending college, Mr. Munjal was a lifelong learner—educated by experience and shaped by the “University of Life.” The insights he gained as an apprentice, entrepreneur, and institution builder proved far more valuable than any formal degree.

His approach to education and learning was rooted in practicality. He believed deeply in the inherent abilities of individuals—skills that, in his view, only needed the right guidance and refinement to flourish.

Although he himself lacked formal education, Mr. Munjal was a staunch advocate for equal access to quality education. He made this a cornerstone of his philanthropic initiatives, always working toward empowering others and raising national standards to a global level.

Admissions

Step 1: ADMISSION PROCESS-

Step 1: Register Online Start by registering on the university website and filling out the application form. Step 2: Upload Documents Upload all the required documents, such as your mark sheets, ID proof, and exam scores. Step 3: Entrance Exam or Test Scores Depending on your chosen course, you may have to take an entrance exam or submit scores from tests like JEE Main, BMU-SAT, CAT, or GMAT. Step 4: Counseling If you clear the exam or meet the criteria, you will be invited for counseling where you’ll get advice on courses, fees, and other details. Step 5: Report to University Finally, visit the university to confirm your admission and complete the formalities

Step 2: ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY –

Applicants seeking admission must have successfully completed their higher secondary education (10+2) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board or institution. The academic curriculum should include Physics, Mathematics, and English as mandatory core subjects, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge essential for engineering studies. In addition to the academic requirements, candidates must present a valid score from one of the following standardized entrance examinations: • JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination – Main), • BMU-SAT (BML Munjal University Scholastic Aptitude Test), or • Any state-level engineering entrance examination recognized by the university.

Step 3: SELECTION PROCCESS

1. Application Submission Candidates must complete the online application form and submit all required academic and personal documents. ________________________________________ 2. Entrance Exam / Test Scores Applicants must provide valid scores from one of the following entrance exams, depending on the program: • Engineering: JEE Main, BMU-SAT, or state-level engineering entrance exams • MBA: CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, or BMU-MAT • Law: CLAT, LSAT-India, or BMU’s own law aptitude test ________________________________________ 3. Personal Interview (PI) Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personal Interview. The interview assesses communication skills, subject understanding, confidence, and motivation to join BMU. ________________________________________ 4. Final Selection Final selection is based on a combination of: • Entrance exam scores • Academic records (Class 10, 12, and graduation, where applicable) • Performance in the personal interview • Extracurricular achievements (if applicable) ________________________________________ 5. Admission Offer Selected candidates will receive a formal offer of admission. To confirm their seat, students must pay the admission fee and complete all necessary formalities.

BML Munjal University’s residential campus currently accommodates up to 2,000 students in a state-of-the-art, multi-storeyed hostel complex designed by renowned HOK Architects.
