Founded in 1920, Jamia Millia Islamia is a public university in New Delhi spread across 239 acres, with 742 teaching staff for 8,721 students. These figures build on a rising trend: Engineering UG (4-year) median salaries moved from 7.5 LPA in 2021-22 to 11 LPA in 2022-23 and 13.78 LPA in 2023-24, with placement counts also increasing. Similarly, Management PG (2-year) medians rose from 8 LPA to 10.2 LPA to 12.6 LPA over the same three years. Anyone comparing programmes here should look closely at which stream and degree level they are applying to, since outcomes differ significantly between engineering, law and the general undergraduate track.
