Admission Process
The admissions are based solely on the merit of candidates, and the process is regulated by a uniform, structured, open admissions framework. Each of the candidates has undergone a nationwide management aptitude test prior to being shortlisted into the final selection criteria; as such, they have taken part in a process that measures not only their communication skills but also their understanding of the respective field and overall potential as an executive.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission into an approved graduate degree program, candidates must be able to demonstrate possession of a valid bachelor's degree (i.e., qualifying degree) and meet the school’s minimum academic performance criteria; this also includes graduating finalists who have completed all requirements for their bachelor’s degree before the start of the new academic year. All candidates must also provide documentation demonstrating that they have met all admissions eligibility criteria established by the university.

The placement system in place at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in Kolkata is a tool to assist students in becoming leaders within the area of international business, trade policy, consulting and corporate strategy. The campus is located in an attractive, green environment containing separate Academy Blocks, Administration Blocks and Residence Blocks, resulting in a united student body. Living Facilities include hostels that are fully furnished with modern conveniences and are constructed to provide students and visiting faculty with a safe and comfortable stay. The integration of these facilities allows for the whole campus to function as one.
Modern audio-visual equipment as well as air-conditioned lecture theatres make up an impressive educational infrastructure; this can also be said of the availability of conference facilities, computer labs and an auditorium for hosting large-scale events. A comprehensive circulated library provides the majority of educational resources, both physical and digital format; however, syndicate (copying) rooms and other multi-use chargeable space provide interactive learning and group research opportunities.
A range of indoor recreational opportunities are available to students, and at our sports facilities, students are able to participate in activities such as basketball, indoor soccer, and others promoting physical fitness. With the recreational areas and common areas on campus, students are provided with an opportunity to interact with each other outside of academics and enhance campus life.
