Admission Process

The admission process for FMS Delhi (Delhi) is based mainly on the candidate's CAT score and will include both Extempores and personal interviews for those shortlisted from CAT scores. The criteria used to assess applicants include factors such as Academic Consistency, Communication Skills during Extempore rounds, Leadership Potential based on Interview assessment, as well as the degree to which the applicant's qualifications and profile match the requirements of the FMS programme. Those who present a high level of Quantitative Ability, Thought Clarity and have gained professional experience prior to applying will have higher chances of being selected.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for admission, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 50% of their grades earned (or equivalent CGPA) OR meet the minimum percentage requirement established by the Indian Government's rule on this topic. Applicants who are currently finishing their last year of study may also submit their applications. A candidate's application will not be considered until such time as they possess a valid CAT score. The CAT score is the primary method used by FMS Delhi to determine if an applicant will continue through to the next stage of the admissions process.

1. Campus & Accommodation

FMS Delhi is located on the North Campus of Delhi University, so students can take advantage of a highly active academic environment. Although FMS does not operate its own hostel, you can apply to stay in DU-managed postgraduate dormitories that offer things like furnished rooms, study carrels, common rooms, and mess facilities, as well as security. Everything around the campus creates a concentrated learning atmosphere, combined with ease of getting to and from the campus.

2. Academic Facilities

Filled with up-to-date facilities including air-conditioned classrooms, seminar rooms and areas that foster collaborative learning, FMS Delhi provides its students with the ability to improve their learning experience. The school has a computer lab as well as a finance lab, both of which are equipped with state-of-the-art software and hardware for the purposes of conducting analysis and/or research in the financial markets.

While FMS may not have its own specific athletic facility, all students at FMS have unlimited use of the wide range of athletic facilities available at the University of Delhi. The grounds, athletic courts and venues available for all types of sports including cricket, football (soccer), basketball, badminton (tennis), volleyball (indoor games) and much more, are very well maintained.
