Eligibility Criteria

To get into engineering programs candidates need to meet the required academic qualifications and subject requirements. Usually people who want to apply should have finished their HSC or a similar exam with Physics and Mathematics as subjects and they also need to have one more subject that is accepted. The engineering programs have rules, about the marks and entrance exams that people need to follow to get in.

Placements

PCE has a team that helps engineering students with getting a job. This team is called the Training and Placement Cell. The team at the Training and Placement Cell focuses on things like learning technical skills getting ready for tests and improving people skills. They also help students develop their abilities and get ready for job interviews.

The Training and Placement Cell organizes talks with people from companies, written tests, interviews and group discussions. This helps engineering students know what companies are looking for get better at what they do and get ready for jobs in technology, engineering, consulting and other fields. The Training and Placement Cell is very important, for engineering students.

1. Campus & Accommodation

Pillai College of Engineering has a campus that's really good for students. The campus has classrooms and a lot of green space around. There are sports areas where students can play. We also have a library, an auditorium, a cafeteria, laboratories and special spaces for students. Pillai College of Engineering has places for boys and girls to live which is called the Pillai Hostel system. These hostels have rooms that are furnished and students get food, internet and people to clean their rooms. The hostels also have security, cameras to watch everything and spaces where students can hang out with friends

2. Academic Facilities

The college has good facilities for students to learn. We have classrooms, laboratories and seminar halls that are all very modern. There is an auditorium, computers for students to use, a library and spaces for students to do their projects. The laboratories are very important because they help students learn by doing things themselves. Students can try out things and learn from each other in these laboratories. Pillai College of Engineering wants students to be creative and learn from each other

3. Sports & Recreation

Pillai College of Engineering wants students to be healthy and happy. So we have a lot of sports facilities on the campus. There are badminton courts, a place to practice shooting, a gym and a big ground where students can play sports like cricket and football. Students can also play basketball, tennis, volleyball and badminton. Some students like to play chess or carrom. We have spaces, for that too. The college wants students to stay active and have fun so we have a lot of options for them to choose from.
