Admission Process

Jamia Millia Islamia’s Admissions Procedure is clearly defined and understood; it is made up of submitting an online application; you will be assessed after an evaluation based on national / university level entrance tests & selected based on merit. When you successfully pass this first stage of the process, you must also provide all documentation required, follow instructions for the entrance tests & have your documents verified before you will be offered admission into the first year, second year (UG), PG, or PhD program by your choice of discipline.

Eligibility Criteria

Each program has its own set of rules about who is eligible: undergraduate courses have a requirement of having completed at least one year of college and obtained the minimum marks needed to qualify for an applicant; And same for postgraduate courses - you must have completed a qualifying bachelor's degree. For research courses you must have completed a master's degree and met the other criteria set forth in your university by way of your entrance examinations and interviews.
