Overview

A one-year full-time programme is the core of what happens on this 260-acre Hyderabad campus, set up in 2001 to run management education on lines closer to international business schools than the standard Indian MBA. Around 820 students study under a faculty of 70-plus at any given time, a ratio that keeps class sizes tighter than most Indian B-schools of comparable scale. ISB Hyderabad holds accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, the "triple crown" combination held by a small number of business schools worldwide. For applicants, this matters mainly for international recognition and exchange or placement tie-ups with overseas schools that recognise these accreditations.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Indian School of Business Hyderabad programs need a bachelor degree equivalent recognised institution, and be able to back this up with an exemplary academic record. It is also necessary to have an acceptable GMAT or GRE score. Candidates are typically expected to have 2 years of relevant professional work experience and demonstrate strong leadership potential and/or strong communicative skills.

The residential campus of Hyderabad's Indian School of Business provides an innovative learning experience for both community and learning on a campus with a substantial amount of green space. The campus has several designated student villages that offer students fully furnished serviced apartments. Also, all housing facilities include access to high-speed Internet, as well as access to modern conveniences and easy access to both academic and recreational areas.

2. Academic Facilities

The academic facilities at Indian School of Business (Hyderabad) enable research-based learning through interactive classes. Facilities include state-of-the-art auditoriums and air-conditioned lecture halls. Also present are several research centres designed to foster collaborative work and new ideas.
