Overview

Engineering studies at this Gurgaon institute began in 2013, making it a relatively recent addition to Haryana's private engineering colleges. It runs on a 60-acre campus and currently has around 540 students, supported by a teaching staff of over 50. The college holds approvals from the UGC and AICTE, the standard regulatory clearances expected of an engineering programme in India. As a private institution, it operates independently in terms of admissions and fee structures, subject to these regulatory frameworks. For students evaluating engineering options in the Gurgaon-Delhi NCR belt, the college's scale, a moderate student body of roughly 540 spread across a large campus, is worth weighing against its relatively short operating history of just over a decade.

2

Admission Process

January generally marks the start of the admission cycle. To be considered for admission, all candidates must register for the application process online through the University’s official website, as well as pay the required fee associated with the application process. Your application will be evaluated based on your national level entrance test scores (e.g., through JEE Main, CUET or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATA)) and a personal interview with the admissions committee to determine candidate suitability, after which time a final admissions decision will be made based upon total merit and documentation verification.

3

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have completed 10+2 education (B.TECH) and have taken physics and mathematics as part of their major, with a GPA of 50 per cent, are eligible to apply for undergraduate courses in the engineering discipline. Students with a valid degree in a related engineering discipline (M.TECH) with at least 50% are eligible to apply for master's courses in an engineering discipline. Some master's level programs may require you to pass a specific subject exam to gain admission or achieve a qualifying score on a standardized entrance exam.

Placements

An effective employment system has been established by the GD Goenka School of Engineering & Sciences (GDS) in Gurugram, India based on its established Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) as well as creating a high degree of emphasis on preparing students for working in various fields of industry. This is accomplished through training and development programs to upgrade students' ability or competency, soft skill training, and competency training to develop technical competencies in all students enrolled at GDS. Through exposure to leading employers worldwide and to multidisciplinarian positions in innovative sectors, such as artificial intelligence (A.I.) or robotic technology, students have a basis for developing their knowledge and skills among other ATS (alternate track systems) graduates. These programs also create valuable industry-academic partnerships and deliver one-on-one mentoring to ensure that graduates possess the necessary skills to be placed into high paying and competitive jobs with leading national and international companies across various engineering disciplines.
