Admission Process
The Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is the main point of entry for those wishing to enter Chandigarh University. Online registration will be required by candidates wishing to take this test, select their preferred date of testing, and to be present for that test date. Candidates that are successful will then enter specialized counselling sessions where their academic performance, along with their entrance score, will be used to make a comprehensive assessment of the entire admissions process, and after completing the document verification process.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for bachelor's programs, candidates typically need to have achieved at least a 50% overall in the equivalent of their XII classes from an officially recognized school board. Infrastructure
Chandigarh University provides a dynamic, all-inclusive learning environment. The University provides both male and female students with distinct and modern hostel blocks. Hostels provide both single and multi-room accommodations, in addition to either air-conditioned or non-air-conditioned accommodations. In addition, the hostels all include the following amenities: 24-hour security services (via CCTV), high-speed internet connection, laundry services, and well-managed mess facilities that serve both healthy and international styles of food.
The university offers an academic setting based on technology, such as smart classroom environments and more than three dozen industry-supported laboratories. The university has many libraries, including a central library and departmental libraries, containing nearly 100,000 items and extensive digital databases. There are numerous centres within the university that are specialists in research and innovation and provide support to students with a focus on experiential learning through a technology business incubator.
The Sports Facilities are cutting-edge in terms of technology; there’s a stadium; we have cricket/football fields, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts; as well as all indoor sports such as gymnasiums, boxing rings, table tennis etc. Culture Clubs (multiple) and Music Rooms create a balanced way of life that allows students, in addition to sports, to participate in national-level youth festivals that we put together periodically throughout the year.
